Recently we faced a sad, yet happy, goodbye to one of our clients. Comfort Controls started with DBS in April 2014, just a two-person office and a relatively new business in the Midlands. DBS are used to working closely with new businesses, including pricing to make office space affordable for all. We were able to offer staged increases on the office rental – this means that new businesses pay a lower rate on their office rental as they build up their business, with the increases steady and spaced out. This enabled Comfort Controls to grow and generate revenue, then as they grew and recruited, we were able to be flexible with our office space – allowing them to upgrade to the size of office they needed as and when they needed it. Our maintenance team were on hand to ensure all moves happened swiftly with minimal disruption to Comfort Controls’ business and our IT team ensured all phones and internet connections were set up efficiently.
Over the years, we have watched Comfort Controls grow into a successful business and team and were proud to have played a supportive role in this process. Unfortunately, this meant that Comfort Controls grew to a size we were not able to accommodate within our offices, and the business has moved to larger commercial premises. Upon leaving, Steve Barham (Managing Director of Comfort Controls) wrote the following review we’d like to share with you:
“After the inception of Comfort Controls in the Midlands on the 1st April 2014 we chose DBS Managed Offices (Old Vicarage, Castle Donington) as our office base. Today we bid a sad farewell to Julie, Laura and the team at DBS as we handed back the keys to ‘The Cottage’. This was due to our continued growth with the support of DBS, which means we have now moved to our brand new office. DBS and the team provided Comfort Controls and myself with a most excellent office environment and support for our growth in the midlands over the last 4 years. Unfortunately, the time has come for the need of a bigger office, as we move to our brand new purpose built office facility in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire. We would like to say thank you to DBS Managed Offices and Julie Vallance and Laura Fitzpatrick for your support through the last four years and we would recommend DBS if you are looking for any office or meeting room facilities.”
Upon leaving we conducted an exit interview with Steve who remarked on the following:
