I took an office at DBS, Castle Donington in 2010 and remained there ever since – why would I move when everything was perfect for my requirements? The environment is lovely with great facilities both indoors and outdoors, I have been able to grow and reduce the space I needed when I needed and it is a good location!
Before taking the office, I viewed a number of options – some were pretty basic, some were ok but just a standard office while some looked like Gin palaces, completely over the top. But DBS had just the right balance – professional and impressive, which was important as I would be hosting potential clients but it also had a nice feel about the place too; a nice ambience. Evidently I was right!
As well as the right environment for me and my staff, a key factor was the location and commute for the meetings with my clients, suppliers and colleagues who would be travelling from all over the UK. Being in the middle of the country was vital for this easy commute to a central meeting point and Castle Donington, particularly, is perfect for this with the motorway and main road network (M1, A42, A50) linking to all directions, only 5 minutes’ drive away and for anyone flying in, East Midlands Airport is also only 5 minutes away.
I really benefitted from the on-site services too, as well as using the meeting rooms, I found having an IT Consultant on hand to be very useful; from purchasing laptops and setting up software and security on them to hosting our servers and stayed in the excellent serviced apartment, when I went out to the (very good) local restaurants with colleagues. They really do provide everything you need.
There is a team at DBS who have been together for many years and everyone makes time to stop and have a chat with you – the Directors, office staff and facilities management staff. They make you feel you belong there and are valued, not just as a client but as a person. After 11 years, I 100% recommend them and if I need services in the future, they will be the ones I go to.
