Established in 2013, UK Connect is one of the nation’s leading I.T. Managed Service Providers (MSP). Offering I.T. solutions to customers’ critical onsite connectivity and communication needs, UK Connect has transformed the construction industry – enabling house builders to improve how they communicate, collaborate and work. The company is now expanding into more sectors, including Defence and Energy, as it continues to drive growth in every corner of the UK.
🗨️ What encouraged you to choose DBS Managed Offices for your business?
As a result of UK Connect’s continued growth and development over the last nine years, we needed to expand our UK-wide reach to complement our existing Headquarters at Cody Technology Park, Farnborough, Hampshire and offices in Glasgow.
This new office space in Castle Donington will enable our team in the Midlands to help better serve our customers in this region and continue to solve their I.T. challenges in a time-efficient manner. It’s also a central base for stock solutions and meetings with our partners and customers.
🗨️ Please tell us a bit about your team and who is in your team
In 2008, our CEO PJ Farr joined the British Army. When he realised he could take a photo and send it instantly back to the UK while his father-in-law couldn’t get a good connection on his construction site in the UK, he made it his goal to connect sites all across the country. Countrywide Telecomms became UK Connect in 2013 and we’re now one of the UK’s leading I.T. Managed Service providers, keeping some of the country’s most prestigious companies and contractors connected – wherever they may be.
Over the last three years, UK Connect has grown its employee count and talent base by a staggering 161%. With a hugely impressive CAGR rate of 33% over the last three years and a market share of 18% (current connectivity provided on all construction sites in the UK), the business is in a strong position and is continuing to experience significant growth.
Customer satisfaction is also paramount to the success of UK Connect, which is evident in our customer satisfaction survey results: an NPS score of 67% in 2020 and an impressive 100% returned in 2021.

🗨️ What has been your businesses’ greatest success to date?
In addition to connecting the construction sector and many other industries with market-leading communications solutions and forming partnerships with the UK’s leading housebuilders, it’s important every member of the UK Connect team feels supported, valued and excited to come into work.

The office itself has everything we need to perform our jobs efficiently and effectively and it’s in a beautiful setting, which is perfect for outdoor meetings and lunchtime walks. We’re enjoying having a base in the Midlands as it offers more convenient access to our customers in the area.
